About

I’m Oskar Peep, an audiovisual media specialist with a technical background in cinematography, editing, and photography. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Media from Baltic Film and Media School, in addition to a Diploma in Photography from Tallinn Polytechnic School. My education has given me a solid foundation in both digital and analogue imaging and the full technical workflow of film production.

Over the past several years, I have worked across film, television, and commercial productions as a camera assistant, B-camera operator, gaffer or light’s assistant, cinematographer, and editor’s assistant, contributing to projects ranging from feature films and TV series to documentaries, music videos, and commercial campaigns. Most recently, I worked as the 3rd Camera Assistant on the feature film Morten. This role builds on previous production experience at Estonian Television, where I assisted with B-camera shooting and location operations, and at Moonwalker Film OÜ, where I trained as a camera assistant and later worked as an assistant editor.

I work confidently with a wide range of cinema and hybrid camera systems, including ARRI Amira & Alexa Mini, RED Komodo, BMPCC 6K and hybrid cameras, as well as an extensive lineup of lenses, lighting units, gimbals, and grip equipment. On the post-production side, I’m experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Illustrator and Pro Tools.

My creative approach is shaped by both technical precision and a strong interest in visual creation. I enjoy crafting visual narratives—whether through the structure of an edit, the mood created by light and motion, or the authenticity of documentary-style imagery. Additionally, I possess a B-category driving license.
